Our mission at Compass Center is to support the safety, wellbeing, and choice of survivors of domestic violence and others impacted by relationship abuse through crisis services, advocacy, and education.
As Orange County's designated domestic violence agency, Compass Center provides free confidential services that help survivors work toward safety, stability, and hope. From answering our 24/7 crisis hotline, to providing emergency shelter, court advocacy, support groups, safety planning, prevention education, and more – we support survivors as they make the choices that are right for them.
The need is growing.
Last year, Compass Center served more than 1,940 survivors – the highest number in our organization's history. While that number reflects an increasing need, it also represents thousands of survivors who found someone ready to listen, believe them, and help them navigate their next steps.
Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure survivors have access to life-changing services when they need them most.
$50 – Transportation so a survivor can get safely to and from court
$150 – One night of hotel and food for a fleeing parent and child
$500 – New locks or security cameras when a survivor feels unsafe at home
$1,000 – A six-week support group where survivors can connect and begin to heal
$3,000 – Overnight and weekend crisis line support for a full month
$5,000 – A month of rent and utilities for all three Safe Homes apartments
Every gift helps ensure that survivors of domestic violence have access to life-saving services when they need them most. Whether you give once or choose to make a monthly gift, your support ensures Compass Center can continue providing compassionate, confidential services to survivors in our community.
Thank you for helping create a community where every survivor has someone to turn to.
